Recruit your affiliates
Share your signup link. Affiliates apply, you approve, and each one gets their own referral link.
Approve and pay
Referred orders arrive already credited to the affiliate. Approve them, then pay everyone in one batch.
Commissions
Flat rates, or tiers that reward your top affiliates.

How does Sprout Affiliate track referrals?
A sale is credited to an affiliate in two ways: their discount code is on the order, or the customer reached your store through their referral link. Sprout Affiliate remembers the link all the way to checkout, so the affiliate is credited even if the code never gets used.
How do affiliates join?
They apply through your signup page, and once approved they get their own referral link and discount code to share. No Shopify account and no technical setup on their side.
How do I find affiliates in the first place?
Three ways. Share your signup link anywhere your customers already are. List your store in the Sprout Affiliate marketplace (Growth plan), where affiliates across the network browse brands and apply. And invite affiliates from the Sprout network directly, on any plan.
How do payouts work?
You approve each referred order, or let Sprout Affiliate approve them for you. Approved commissions wait in the payable queue until you send a payout, weekly, monthly, or whenever you like, and PayPal affiliates are paid in one batch. Venmo, bank transfer, and check are tracked so you can pay them your way and mark them paid.
Can affiliates choose their own discount code?
Yes. They suggest a code when they sign up, and you can approve it as-is or edit it before it goes live. Leave it blank and Sprout Affiliate generates one for you.
What does it cost?
Nothing to start: the free plan runs one program, with payouts tracked for you to pay by hand. Growth is a $9.99 monthly base plus 2% of the referral sales your affiliates generate (only sales that clear refunds count), and adds unlimited programs and automatic PayPal payouts. Professional is $49.99 + 1.5%. It lifts commission tiers from three levels to unlimited, and adds custom affiliate links, short branded links, your own domain, and affiliate bonuses. Enterprise is $119.99 + 1%. Professional and Enterprise can be paid yearly instead, $499.90 and $1,199.90, which is twelve months for the price of ten. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, there are no setup fees, and you can cancel anytime from your Shopify admin.
